Main Features
- Refers to a primer based on corrosion-inhibiting pigments, iron oxide, inert materials, and a vinyl vehicle modified with an epoxy ester.
- Also refers to a tie-coat of the same chemical composition.
- Used for application over inorganic zinc primers.
- Supplied in ready-to-use packaging.
- It has exceptional adhesion, great compatibility with various coatings, excellent ability to stop underrust corrosion; resistant to humid environments with or without salinity and sulfur-derived gases, and immersion in potable water.
Applications
This coating must be used on metallic iron and steel surfaces, after cleaning with abrasive to a commercial grade finish. It is also used as a tie-coat or bond coat over completely cured inorganic zinc primers.
