HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANT ANTICORROSIVE PRIME

Inorganic coating consisting of zinc powder pigment, temperature resistant fillers and a partially hydrolyzed inorganic silicate vehicle package seperately. It is extremely hard and abrasion resistant with excellent resistance to most solvents, wet, saline and marine environments and resistant to high temperatures. It is considered that the life of this coating is less than that of the post-cure. However, it is recommended for installations exposed to a high percentage of humidity, splashes and breeze when applied. Minimal degradation compared to other silicate-based coatings.

It is used as a primary in a system for corrosive protection caused by weathering to sea salts as well as the applicaton of heat by welding and structures subjected to high temperatures.
